Working in collaboration with The Freedom Fund, the project focused on documenting realities connected to social justice, vulnerability, and community resilience. The Freedom Fund is an international organization working to address exploitation and support vulnerable communities through long-term systemic change.

Victor Kubasi: Education & Empowerment
Scholarship Journey
Through photography and videography, Spartan Photography Kenya documented the story of Victor Kubasi, a young man from Kibera who earned a scholarship through the Sydney International Equity Scholarship at the University of Sydney.
Victor's journey reflects both the struggles and the resilience of boys growing up in underserved communities. His story is not only about academic success, but about determination, support systems, and the power of opportunity.

The visual documentation took place in Kibera — the community where Victor was raised — capturing the environment that shaped his life and the path that led him to this milestone.
