Victor Kubasi Scholarship Story
Growing Up in Kibera
In Kibera, Nairobi's largest informal settlement, growing up as a boy comes with many challenges. Limited opportunities, social pressures, and economic hardship shape the everyday realities many young men must navigate.
Through photography and videography, Spartan Photography Kenya documented the story of Victor Kubasi, a young man from Kibera who earned a scholarship through the Sydney International Equity Scholarship at the University of Sydney.
